At Weston Rhyn, we want every child to develop a curiosity about the world around them. We inspire children to ask questions, investigate ideas and discover how science shapes our lives.

We believe that science helps children to understand and make sense of the world. For this reason, practical exploration and enquiry are at the heart of our science teaching.

Using the White Rose Science scheme, we support children to develop scientific knowledge, skills and understanding. Children learn through observation, investigation and discussion, helping them think and work like scientists.

Our aim is for every child to become a curious, confident learner with a lifelong interest in science and discovery.
