Weston Rhyn is a Community Primary School for children between the ages of 4 years and 11 years, with a nursery class for children aged 2 to 4 years.  Should you wish your child to attend our school, you should register them as soon as possible.  To apply for a Nursery place, please contact the school office.

Our admissions authority is Shropshire Council.  As a 'maintained' Local Authority school, we follow the Shropshire agreed policy.  The admission arrangements 2026/27 for community and voluntary controlled schools in the Shropshire local authority area were determined by Shropshire Council Cabinet on 8 February 2021.  A copy of the arrangements have been published on their website.

In-Year Admissions

Shropshire Council will coordinate and allocate all requests for places at our school.

We welcome prospective parents to visit our school.  If you wish to apply for a place at our school, please complete the online application form. 

Your application will be processed by the School Admissions Team at Shropshire Council in accordance with our school’s oversubscription criteria.  You will then be notified via letter of the outcome of your application.
