Welcome to Weston Rhyn Primary School's website and thank you for taking the time to visit.
Our primary school is a lively, friendly school; located north of the market town Oswestry, in the village of Weston Rhyn.
The school was built in 1923 and currently has 5 classes and a morning Nursery. Many enhancements have been made to the building over the last 15 years including a library area, resource room with cooking facilities and much-improved toilet facilities for all the children in school.
The staff and governors are committed to securing the best possible education for each and every child, and constantly strive to help all children achieve higher than they think possible. This is achieved through the promotion of high aspirations and expectations and helping children to develop a life-long love of learning.
As Acting Head Teacher, I will lead the school for this current academic year (2018-19) and have found the school to be a wonderfully welcoming and inclusive environment, since taking up post at the beginning of the academic year.
If you are moving into the area and considering Weston Rhyn Primary School as a school for your child, we would be delighted to show you around - I'm certain you'll then be better placed to appreciate the special atmosphere that the children and staff are fortunate to benefit from. Please see the contact page for details of how you can get in touch.
